SOUTHWEST BASEBALL TEAM TO
PARTICIPATE IN NOSTALGIA MAN CLASSIC
The
Southwest baseball team will participate in the second annual Nostalgia
Man Classic on Saturday-Sunday, October 9-10, hosted by the Memphis
Redbirds at AutoZone Park. In addition to the Saluqis, the classic will
include Christian Brothers University, Crichton College, LeMoyne-Owen
College, and Rhodes College.
Southwest, the only two-year school in the classic, is scheduled to play
Rhodes at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Christian Brothers at 10 a.m. on
Sunday.
”I think it’s a great opportunity for our players to get to play at a
quality facility like AutoZone Park,” said Southwest head baseball coach
Johnny Ray. “The Redbirds have bent over backwards to make this a
memorable experience for everyone.”
General admission tickets for the Nostalgia Man Classic will be consigned
to each team for sale. These all-inclusive passes, which allow entry for
all games, will be sold for $15 each. To purchase tickets, or for more
