SALUQIS BASEBALL LOSES THREE IN FLORIDA
The Southwest baseball team dropped three games over
the weekend at the Carl McInnis Classic in Niceville,
Florida. The Saluqis lost to Shelton State 18-12 on
Friday, the host team Okaloosa-Walton 10-2 on Saturday,
and conference rival Cleveland State 7-2 on Sunday.
The Saluqis will host the same Cleveland State team this
weekend in a three-game series at First Tennessee Fields
that will begin TJCCAA play. The two teams will
play a single game at 1 p.m. on Friday followed by a noon doubleheader on
Saturday.
