SALUQIS BASEBALL TEAM
DROPS THREE IN FLORIDA
 The
Southwest baseball team took a road trip to Niceville,
Florida last weekend and were defeated by Wallace-Dothan,
Okaloosa-Walton, and Cleveland State to drop to 2-3 on the
season. Top hitters for the Saluqis in the three games were
Clay Wright (pictured at right) (3 for 4, 2 doubles,
2 rbi vs. Wallace-Dothan), Matt Nuccio (3 for 5, double, 2
rbi vs. Wallace Dothan), and Billy Ray Todd (3 for 3 vs.
Okaloosa-Walton).
The Saluqis travel to Morristown, Tennessee this weekend to
open conference play with a three-game series against
defending NJCAA national champion Walters State. The next
home game will be on Tuesday, February 20 against Northeast
Mississippi at Tony Gagliano Memorial Field.
