SOUTHWEST BASEBALL TEAMS
DROPS TWO TO WALTERS STATE
The Saluqis' baseball team
opened conference play over the weekend in Morristown,
Tennessee and lost both games of Friday's doubleheader
to defending national champion Walters State by scores
of 5-4 and 16-0. Only two of the scheduled three games
were played as Saturday's single game was postponed due
to snow. The losses dropped Southwest's record to 2-5
overall.
