NAMED ALL-DISTRICT
Southwest centerfielder Patrick Williams has been named to the All-East
Central District Team by the National Junior College Athletic Association.
Williams, a sophomore from Houston High School in Germantown,
Tennessee, batted .351 this spring and led the Saluqis with 26 stolen bases.
He is a two-time all-conference selection by the Tennessee Junior and
Community College Athletic Association and was voted the TJCCAA ‘Defensive
Player of the Year’ in 2003.
