SOUTHAVEN PLAYERS SIGN WITH SOUTHWEST
Kevin Terrell and John Baker of Southaven High School have signed letters of intent to play baseball at Southwest Tennessee Community College, Saluqis' coach Doug Darnall announced today. Terrell, a first baseman, has led the Chargers in hitting the past two seasons, including a .468 average as a senior with 7 doubles, 1 home run, and 31 runs batted in. Baker, a catcher-infielder, batted .316 this spring with 3 doubles, 3 home runs, and 22 RBI. Terrell and Baker, coached at Southaven by Ed Rich, led the Chargers to a 29-5 record and the semifinals of the Mississippi Class 5A state playoffs
