SOUTHAVEN PLAYERS SIGN WITH SOUTHWEST |
| Kevin Terrell
and John Baker of Southaven High
School have signed letters of intent to play baseball at Southwest
Tennessee Community College, Saluqis' coach Doug Darnall announced
today. Terrell, a first baseman, has led the Chargers in hitting the
past two seasons, including a .468 average as a senior with 7 doubles, 1
home run, and 31 runs batted in. Baker, a catcher-infielder, batted .316
this spring with 3 doubles, 3 home runs, and 22 RBI. Terrell and Baker,
coached at Southaven by Ed Rich, led the Chargers to a 29-5 record and
the semifinals of the Mississippi Class 5A state playoffs |
