HOUSTON'S STEELE SIGNS WITH SALUQIS |
| Right-handed
pitcher Michael Steele of Houston High School has signed a letter
of intent to play baseball at Southwest Tennessee Community College,
announced Southwest coach Doug Darnall today. Steele went 5-3 with a
2.19 earned run average this spring for coach Lane McCarter, leading the
Mustangs to a 22-17 record and the regular season District 15AAA
runner-up. In nine starts, he struck out 30 batters and walked only 12
in 44-2/3 innings of work. |
