LONG SIGNS WITH SOUTHWEST |

Tim Long of Cordova High School has signed a letter of intent to
play baseball at Southwest Tennessee Community College, head coach Doug
Darnall announced today. Long went 2-5 this spring for Wolves' coach
Skip Blythe, striking out 22 batters in 39-2/3 innings of work. He also
recorded a 3.88 earned run average, and allowed opponents to bat only
.232 against him. |
