NANCE NAMED PRE-SEASON ALL-AMERICAN
 Southwest
men’s basketball player A.J. Nance, a 6’5” sophomore
forward from Marion, Arkansas, has been selected
Second Team Pre-Season All-American by the National
Junior College Athletic Association.
Nance led Southwest to a 28-7 record, the Region VII
championship, and an eighth-place finish in the NJCAA
National Tournament as a freshman. He averaged 11.1
points per game, led the Saluqis with a .791 free throw
percentage, and was second on the team with 34
three-point field goals made. Nance was named to the
Tennessee Junior and Community College Athletic
Association’s All-Western Division team and also
garnered Region VII All-Tournament honors.
