SOUTHWEST BASKETBALL PLAYERS AMONG TJCCAA
LEADERS
Several Saluqis and Lady Saluqis are listed among the leaders in this
week's Tennessee Junior and Community College Athletic Association
statistical report.
The Southwest men lead the TJCCAA in scoring offense at 95.8 points per
game and are led by Anthony "A.J." Pigram, who ranks 10th with a 15.3
average. Pigram also is among the conference leaders in three point
field goal percentage (8th at 43.1) and free throw percentage (10th at
80.0). Lester Hudson also ranks high in several categories,
including free throw percentage (5th at 86.7), rebounding (6th at 7.2),
and steals (7th at 2.3).
The Lady Saluqis, who rank 4th in both scoring offense (72.6) and
defense (67.1), are led by Ashley Mason, who ranks 3rd in rebounding (8.6)
and 5th in scoring (17.0). Porshia Willis is among the leaders in
assists (4th at 3.9) and steals (5th at 2.8), while Adrienne Hoyle leads
the conference in blocked shots with a 1.8 average.
