SOUTHWEST PLAYERS
HONORED:
- KIZZIE NAMED PLAYER OF THE YEAR
- COACH SAILS VOTED COACH OF THE YEAR
Several Saluqis and Lady Saluqis were honored by the Tennessee Junior
and Community College Athletic Association at the Region VII Tournament
in Jackson, Tennessee. Lady Saluqi sophomores Larisha Graves and
Christhol McClain were both named to the TJCCAA All-West Division team,
and Graves selected to the All-TJCCAA all-conference team. Sophomores
Albert Jones and Brian Kizzie of the Southwest men were All-West
selections, while Kizzie was named TJCCAA Player of the Year and head
coach Verties Sails was voted TJCCAA Coach of the Year. |
