SALUQIS LOSE IN
TRIPLE-OVERTIME TO END SEASON
The Southwest men's basketball season came to an end on Saturday
afternoon as the Saluqis lost 113-101 to Okaloosa-Walton (FL) in
triple-overtime at the NJCAA national tournament in Hutchinson,
Kansas. With the loss, Southwest finished in 9th place out of 16 teams
in the tournament. The Saluqis finished the season with an outstanding
24-8 overall record, and were ranked 20th in the final NJCAA poll.
