SALUQI MEN END SEASON IN REGION QUARTERFINALS
After defeating Motlow State 77-57 in the first round of the TJCCAA/Region
VII Tournament last Tuesday, the Southwest men's basketball team was
defeated 72-63 in a quarterfinal game on Thursday, ending the Saluqis'
season. In the win over Motlow State, Londrick Nolen scored a game-high 26
points and also led the team with 13 rebounds and seven assists. Anthony
Holley added 15 points and six rebounds before leaving the game with a knee
injury in the second half. Nolen also led the Saluqis in scoring in the
loss to Chattanooga State with 16 points, while Kevin Dilworth recorded a
double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. The Saluqis ended the season
with a 12-13 record. |
