SOUTHWEST CHEERLEADERS
WIN FIRST PLACE IN COA NATIONALS
 The
Southwest cheerleading squad once again brought home a
first place trophy at the Cheerleaders of America Lone
Star Nationals, winning the All-Female Cheer Non-Tumble
Division. The competition was held on Saturday, March 31 at the
Nokia Theatre in Dallas.
Southwest cheerleaders were the top four in the
Individual Cheer Division – Latrina Ward (first place),
Tanesha Jackson (second place), Britany Bolton (third
place), and Nicole Bibbs (fourth place). In addition,
Southwest placed three cheerleaders in the Dance Soloist
Division – Valli Bursi (third place), Breeze Wright
(fourth place), and Jasmine Austin (fifth place). The
Stunt Group included Ward, Jackson, Bibbs, Wright, and
Shundra King.
