STIGGER LEADS REGION IN SCORING
Saluqis' forward Cortez Stigger is currently leading Region 7 in scoring with a 25.6 average. Stigger, a 6' 6" sophomore from Melrose High School, also ranks fourth nationally, according to the National Junior College Athletic Association. In addition, he ranks sixth in the region in steals (2.5), seventh in rebounding (8.0), eighth in free throw percentage (.857), and 14th in assists (3.6)

The Saluqis' next game will be on Wednesday, January 2, when they host Kennedy-King College (of Chicago, Illinois) at 3:00 p.m. at the Verties Sails Gymnasium. Both the Saluqis and Lady Saluqis return to conference play on Wednesday, January 9 when Southwest takes Hiwassee College in a doubleheader, also at the Verties Sails Gymnasium.
