LADY SALUQIS BASKETBALL TEAM SIGNS NINE
Southwest Tennessee Community College women's basketball coach Andrea Martre has announced the signing of nine players for the 2002-2003 season. Candice Holliday, a 5'10" all-state guard from Windsor (VT) High School, heads the list. Holliday played at Jackson North Side High School through her junior season before transferring to Windsor. As a senior, she averaged 28 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists, and led her team to a 21-3 record and runnerup in the state. Other signees include Fairley High School's Quaneshia McGhee (22.7 ppg, 115 three-point FGs) and Yulanda Williams (7.8 assists, 6.8 steals), Hamilton's Latoya House, Trezevant's Lakus Bonner, Millington's Patrice Middleton, Kirby's Tiffany Webb, Sheffield's Kaia Richardson, and Horn Lake's Jackie Jackson.
