LADY SALUQIS SPLIT SOFTBALL TWINBILL WITH CROWLEY’S RIDGE
The Southwest softball team improved its record to 7-4 on the season
with a doubleheader split with Crowley’s Ridge College in Paragould,
Arkansas on Monday afternoon.
The Lady Saluqis won the first game 9-1 as sophomore pitcher Erica
Brich (pictured at left) went 3 for 3 with 3 runs scored and 3
runs batted in. Brich was also the winning pitcher, allowing only
four hits and no earned runs to pick up her fourth win of the
season. Freshman first baseman Lindsey McGoff also went 3 for 3 and
drove in a pair of runs. Southwest could manage only three hits in
game two as Crowley’s Ridge defeated the Lady Saluqis 3-0
