LADY SALUQIS SOFTBALL TEAM
SWEEPS NORTHWEST-SHOALS
 Several
school records were broken in the Lady Saluqis’ softball sweep
(6-4, 16-11) of Northwest-Shoals on Tuesday in Muscle Shoals,
Alabama. In game two, Southwest (6-4) set team records with 23
hits, 6 doubles, 2 triples, and 33 total bases. Alyse Brewer
(pictured above) went 5 for 5 with three doubles in game
two, setting single game records for most hits and doubles. In
addition to Brewer, who had six hits in the two games, other top
hitters on the day for Southwest were Jessica Hefflinger (6 for
7, 4 rbi), Anna Carter (3 hits, triple, 4 rbi), Caryn Hubbard (4
hits, double, 3 rbi), Staci Craig (4 hits, double), Tonesha Webb
(3 hits, triple) and Gina High (3 hits, 2 rbi).
