SOUTHWEST SPLITS WITH JACKSON STATE IN SOFTBALL
The
Southwest softball team split a doubleheader with
Jackson State on Thursday afternoon in Jackson,
Tennessee, winning the first game 6-2 and losing the
second 10-4.
Jessica Hefflinger went 3 for 4 and drove in two
runs in the game one victory, while Gina High added two
hits and one RBI. Staci Craig picked up her
seventh win of the season, allowing one earned run and
striking out four. Amanda Harlow (pictured at
left) drove in three runs of the Lady Saluqis' four
runs in the second game with a bases-loaded double in the third inning.
