SOUTHWEST SOFTBALL TEAM LOSES FOUR IN TIGER-FEST TOURNAMENT
The Lady Saluqis' softball team competed in the Northeast Tiger-Fest
Tournament in Booneville, Miss., over the weekend, losing all four games.
Southwest was defeated Friday by East Central (MS) 11-6 and Northeast
Mississippi 8-0. In the final game of pool play on Saturday morning, the
Lady Saluqis were defeated by Mississippi Gulf Coast 7-2, and then lost to
Three Rivers (MO) 1-0 in the first game of the single elimination bracket. |
