SOUTHWEST SOFTBALL TEAM SWEEPS CROWLEY’S RIDGE
 The
Southwest softball team improved to 4-2 on the season
with a 26-1, 27-0 sweep of Crowley's Ridge College last
Tuesday afternoon at the Buckhead Creek Recreation
Complex.
Top hitters on the day for the Lady Saluqis were Brooke
Hively (pictured at right) (6 hits, 3 rbi, 4
stolen bases), Jessica Hefflinger (6 hits, 4 rbi), Alyse
Brewer (6 hits, 3 rbi), Amanda Harlow (5 hits, 7 rbi),
and Crystal Wilkerson (4 hits, 5 rbi). Staci Craig
tossed a no-hitter in game one, striking out 10 batters
in five innings. Caryn Hubbard was the winner in game
two, allowing two hits and striking out six in three innings.
