LADY SALUQIS' SOFTBALL LOSES TO 2ND-RANKED
CHATTANOOGA
 The
Southwest softball team lost 2-0 and 8-0 to
conference-leading and second-ranked Chattanooga State
on Saturday at the Buckhead Creek Recreation Complex,
dropping their record to 26-22 overall and 6-6 in the
TJCCAA.
In game one, the Lady Saluqis outhit Chattanooga State
7-3 but left eight runners on base. Top hitters were
Amber Gatewood (pictured at left) (2 hits,
double), Whitney Grimes (2 hits), and Whitney Witcher
(double).
Southwest will wrap up the regular season with games at
Volunteer State on Saturday and Columbia State on
Sunday.
