SALUQIS DEFEAT DYERSBURG FOR FIRST WIN |
| The Southwest
Tennessee Community College softball team defeated Dyersburg State
Community College by a score of 6-3 on Wednesday afternoon for its first
win of the season. Freshman Christine Taylor was the winning pitcher and
also hit her first home run of the season to lead the Lady Saluqis to
the victory. The next softball game will be
Monday, April 15, when Southwest travels to Jackson, Tennessee to take
on Jackson State Community College in a 5:00 p.m. doubleheader. The Lady
Saluqis return home on Saturday, April 20 with a doubleheader against
Volunteer State, then close out the regular season on Sunday, April 21
with a twinbill against Columbia State. Gametimes for both Saturday and
Sunday will be 1:00 p.m. at Tobey Park (at Hollywood and Central.) |
