or third. He needs to patient at the plate and let the game come to
him."
High School: Burleson played for coach Joey Nesbit at Germantown
High School, leading the Red Devils to a 29-10 record and the USA
Classic championship his senior year. He was one of the Red Devils’
top hitters, batting .373 with 25 runs scored, 50 hits, five doubles,
two triples, and 12 runs batted in. Burleson was named All-District
15AAA, All-Region, and All-Metro.
Summer Ball: Burleson played for the Memphis Dodgers of the
Memphis Stan Musial League, and also played in several tournaments
with the Dulins’ Dodgers team.
Personal: Born December 25, 1983, in Miami, Florida, Burleson
is the son of Cindy and Paul Burleson. |
