2003: Meng was red-shirted his
freshman year at the University of Southern Mississippi before
transferring to Southwest.
High School: Meng played for coach David King at Trinity
Episcopal Day School in Natchez, Mississippi. As a senior, Meng
compiled a 3-4 record with a 1.07 earned run average. In 56 innings of
work, he struck out 73 batters and walked only 19.
