High School: Neal played for coach
Lynn Oswalt at West Memphis (AR) High School, where he batted .273 as
a senior while playing with a broken wrist the entire season. As a
junior, he played on West Memphis’ team that went 19-10 and advanced
to the Class 5-A state tournament. An outstanding student, Neal was on
the Honor Roll throughout high school and graduated with honors.
Summer Ball: Neal played for the West Memphis Eagles, coached
by Lynn Oswalt.
Personal: Born October 22, 1984, in Memphis, Neal is the son of
Debbie and Wendale Neal. His brother, Adam, played for the Saluqis
during the 1999 season. |
