2003: Schildmeier played for coach
Rob Callistro at Crichton College his freshman season.
High School: Schildmeier was an all-district, all-metro and
all-region performer for coach John Perkins at Collierville High
School, where he batted .333 as a senior and led Shelby Metro with
seven home runs (including three in one game), 32 runs batted in, and
a .644 slugging average. As a junior, he batted .343 with 23 runs
scored, five doubles, one triple, four home runs, and 24 runs batted
in. Schildmeier was a member of the West Tenn Showcase Team, the
Tennessee Juniors Showcast Team, and was named to the 2001 USA Classic
All-Tournament Team.
Summer Ball: Schildmeier played last summer for the Memphis
Dodgers of the Memphis Stan Musial League.
Personal: Born January 21, 1984, in Memphis, Schildmeier is the
son of Bob and Karen Schildmeier. His brother, Matt, is a former
Southwest baseball player who is currently playing at Crichton
