"Brit is a semester transfer who will push for playing time
immediately in the outfield."
High School: Vincent came to Southwest from Bowling Green (KY)
High School, where he played centerfield for coach David Nole. He
batted .444 his senior season with a .671 on-base average. Vincent led
Bowling Green to the district title all four years of high school, and
to the region championship in 2001. He was a two-time all-region
selection, and also made the all-region team in basketball his senior
year. An excellent student, Vincent graduated with honors from Bowling
Green High.
Summer Ball: Vincent played for the Kentucky Colonels, coached by
Doug Guelde.
Personal: Born January 23, 1984, in Bowling Green, Kentucky,
Vincent is the son of Barry Vincent and Robin Ashley.
