Orr has been voted a Team Captain for the 2005 Season.

2004:  Orr was selected to the All-Region VII Tournament Team by the Tennessee Baseball Report.  He set a school record with a perfect 1.000 fielding average, committing no errors in 129 chances.  Orr batted .303 with 31 runs scored, 37 hits, 3 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run, and 18 runs batted in.

2003:  
Orr was red-shirted as a freshman at Southwest.

High School: Orr played at Bolton High School under coach Tommy Scarbrough, leading them to a 24-11 record, the District 14AAA championship, and Region 7AAA runner-up his senior season. He batted .339 with 22 runs scored, six doubles, and 20 runs batted in, and led the team with 27 walks and a .615 on-base average. As a senior, Orr was named to the all-district team, The Commercial Appeal’s Best of the Preps team, and was voted tournament MVP of the Jackson North Side Tournament.

Personal: Born October 12, 1983, in Columbia, Missouri, Orr is the son of Steve and Gloria Orr.
