Coleman was a four-year letterman at Germantown High School for Coach Joey
Nesbit. As a senior, Coleman batted .330 with five home runs and was
selected to the All-District 15AAA and The Commercial Appeal’s Best of the
Preps All-Metro teams. He helped lead Germantown to the District 15AAA and
Region 8AAA runner-up his senior season. Coleman participated in the
Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association Showcase in 2005 and was named one of
Tennessee’s Top Prospects by Baseball America.
Personal: Born December 25, 1987, in Orlando, Florida, Coleman is
the son of Randy and Joy Coleman.
