Fitzpatrick
appeared in 18 games as a freshman, posting a 2-3 record with one save and
37 strikeouts in 49 innings of work. His best game was against Mississippi
Delta when he struck out six batters in a complete game win.
High School: Fitzpatrick played two seasons for Coach Brandon Tucker at
Fayette Academy in Somerville, Tennessee. As a senior, Fitzpatrick had a
5-2 pitching record with a 2.00 earned run average and was named to the
all-district team.
Personal: Born May 26, 1988, in Natchez, Mississippi, Fitzpatrick is
the son of Mark and Suzanne Fitzpatrick
