2007:
As a freshman,
Warren started 13 games in rightfield and 11 as a designated hitter. He
batted .183 with three home runs and nine runs batted in and was among the
team leaders with 30 bases on balls. As a pitcher, Warren appeared in seven
games including five starts. He posted a 1-1 record with a 8.10 earned run
average and struck out 19 batters in 26-2/3 innings. His best game on the
mound were a conference victory over Motlow State when he allowed five hits
in seven innings, and against Arkansas-Ft. Smith when he struck out six and
allowed one earned run.
High School: Warren was a four-year letterman for Coach Mack Hawks at
Oakland High School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. As a senior, Warren was
named to the all-district team after batted .320 with seven home runs
including a state-record three grand slams.
Personal: Born April 23, 1988, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Warren is
the son of Larry and Debbie Warren.
