High School: Wright
lettered two seasons at Bartlett High School for Coach Phil Clark. As a
senior, Wright was named All-District 14AAA, All-District 14AAA Tournament,
and to The Commercial Appeal’s Best of the Preps All-Metro Team. In 2007,
he posted an 8-2 pitching record with a 3.32 earned run average and helped
lead Bartlett to the district, region, and Class AAA state championships.
Wright played summer ball on the Dulin’s Dodgers team that won the “Best
World Series” championship.
Personal: Born September 29, 1989, in Memphis, Wright is the son of
Eric and Linda Wright.
