“Brayden has been a model Saluqi since he stepped on campus last year as a freshman. He has completely transformed his body since high school, and now has a chance to be a power pitcher for us in a variety of roles after settling in as our Friday guy as a freshman. Brayden’s efforts have rewarded him with a commitment to the Univ. of Memphis for the fall of 2019. He was voted as a Team Co-Captain by his teammates for this spring, along with his teammates Cannon Duke and Chris Swanberg.”

2018: Green led the Saluqi pitching staff with 13 games started, 3 wins, 57 innings and 53 strikeouts. All three of his wins came in conference games - vs. Vol State (6 IP, 1 ER, 7 K’s), Roane State (5 IP, 1 ER, 5 K’s) and Jackson State (5 IP, 2 ER, 7 K’s).

High School: Green was a three-year letterman for Coach Jeff Munier at Collierville High School, where he helped lead them to the District 15AAA championship in 2015 and the Class AAA Sectional championship and Class AAA State Tournament in 2016. He was named All-Region and played in the Shelby County High School All-Star Game. Green posted a career record of 15-5 with three saves.

Summer Ball: Green played last summer for the Route 66 Stars in the Show Me Collegiate League, coached by Brandon Fairbanks. He helped lead the Stars to the Show Me league championship.

Personal: Born July 20, 1999 in Memphis, Tennessee, he is the son of Scott and Libby Green.
