High School: Kirkman played three years for Coach Al Stevens at Harding Academy, where he batted .336 as a senior with 20 stolen bases, 20 runs batted in and 36 runs scored. Kirkman was named All-District (2017, 2018), All-Region (2018) and played in the 2018 Shelby County All-Star Game. He helped lead Harding to the Division 2 state runner-up in 2016 and the state quarterfinals in 2017.

Summer Ball: Kirkman played last summer for Batter’s Box coached by Cory Sumner.

Personal: Born July 23, 1999, in Memphis, Tennessee, he is the son of David and Stacey Kennedy.
