2018: Pianto played his freshman season at Murray State University. He made six appearances out of the bullpen, striking out seven batters in 6-2/3 innings. He struck out three in 1-2/3 perfect innings against Western Illinois.

High School: Pianto played three years for Coach Chris Parker at Pope John Paul II High School in Hendersonville, Tennessee. He helped lead PJP to the Division 2 state semifinals three times and set the school record for pitching appearances his senior year.

Summer Ball: Pianto played for the Nashville Knights coached by Logan Dietz.

Personal: Born November 25, 1998, in Lansing, Michigan, he is the son of Chris and Candice Pianto.
