Southwest Tennessee Saluqis Cheerleading
The Mandatory Team Meeting is on Thursday, September 27th at 5 p.m.!!!
Coach Tiller would like to thank the office of Student Development, Campus Police and all of the candidates who participated in Southwest Tennessee Community College 2018-2019 Cheer Auditions. We would also like to thank our judges for taking the time to help select a talented group of students to represent Southwest this year.
Thank you to our judges!
Francesca Sails has served as the dance team sponsor at Whitehaven High for 5 years. During this time, she has transformed the program into one of the top notch programs in city. The team competed nationally for the first time in several years in 2015 (and continues to compete nationally), where they made it to the semi-finals—the only all minority team to do so in their division. Her overall goal is to continue developing the program and to win a national championship. Francesca is daughter of Verties and LaFrancina Sails and the mother of one son, Myles J. Sails, who currently plays football at Tennessee State University.
Darryl Davis, who is a native of Memphis, TN. He is the second son of seven boys. He graduated from Lane College with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Darryl currently works for Shelby County Schools. In his free time, he loves to take dance classes, shop, travel and hang out with his colleagues.
Jemetria Bush is a 24 year old native of Staten Island, NY. She cheered for 15 years, elementary, all-star and collegiate. She graduated from Hollis F Price Middle College in 2012 and began cheering for Southwest. While cheering at Southwest she held the title of captain, co-captain, competed at nationals where the team placed 1st, and she placed 1st in individual cheer. She was also a finalist for the 2015 Tennessee Titian Cheerleaders team. She recently graduated from Concorde Career College where she obtained her degree in medical assistance. She is now a registered certified pediatric medical assistant with future goals of coaching her own cheer team one day.
