Head Cheerleading Coach
Sabrina Tiller
Sabrina Tiller, a former member of the Tennessee Titans Cheerleading Team and the Memphis Grizzlies Dance Team, is in her fifth year as cheerleading coach at Southwest.

In 2006-2007, Tiller guided the Southwest cheerleaders to a first place finish in the All-Female Cheer Non-Tumble Division in the Cheerleaders of America (COA) Lone Star Open Nationals in Dallas.  In addition, Southwest placed the top four in the Individual Cheer Division and three of the top five in the Dance Soloist Division.   In 2005-2006, Tiller led the squad to National Championships in two divisions in the COA Lone Star Open Nationals, also in Dallas.  Under her direction, Southwest won both the All Female Non Tumbling and Collegiate Stunt Group divisions, and five Southwest cheerleaders placed in the Open Crowdleader individual division.

With 14 years of cheerleading experience, Tiller has coached and had leadership sessions with White Station High School, Frayser High School, Craigmont Middle School, Raleigh-Egypt Middle School, and The Grandview Raiders Cheerleaders (Shelby Youth Sports), and has been a tumbling instructor at Dulin's Sports Academy in Cordova.  She currently coaches the up and coming "Bluff City All-Stars" middle school/high school cheer squad, and is a judge and announcer for COA (Cheerleaders of America), that includes state, regional, and national competitions.

From 2001-2002, Tiller was a member of the Grizzlies Dance Team, and was a Titans Cheerleader in 2000-2001.  While with the Titans, Tiller had the opportunity to dance with Toby Keith at the 2000 Country Music Awards.  A Speech Therapy major at the University of Tennessee-Martin, Tiller cheered for the Skyhawks' football, women's basketball, and men's basketball teams, and also performed at the Ohio Valley Conference tournaments and championship games.

A native of Chicago, Illinois, she was captain of the Cardinal Varsity Cheerleaders for three years at William R. Harper High School in Chicago.  Her senior year, Tiller was an Individual National Qualifier and a second place finisher in the Cheerleaders of America Individual Competition.  In addition, Tiller was selected an All-Star Cheerleader for the Chicago Public Schools, performing at all-star games, competitions, exhibitions, parades, and other community events.  Coach Tiller is Senior Account Executive for Skirt Magazine.
