Assistant Coach
Emma Devine
Emma Devine is beginning her seventh year as the Lady Saluqis' assistant
coach. Prior to joining Andrea Martre's staff, she was an assistant
coach at the University of Alabama-Huntsville for three years. Devine
was a standout guard at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, and also at
Alabama A & M University, where she received her Bachelor's degree
in Communications. A graduate of Brookhaven (MS) High School, Devine
has two sons - Otis, age 12, and Anfernee, age 10.

Assistant Coach Aisha Fowler-Barker
Former Lady Saluqi Aisha Fowler-Barker is in her
fourth year as assistant coach. Barker played for coach Andrea Martre
during the 1995-96 and 1996-97 seasons. Her freshman season, she made
the All-West Division team, and as a sophomore made both the All-West
Division and All-TJCCAA teams. Both years, Barker was named the Lady
Saluqis' "Team MVP", and was on the Region VII
All-Tournament team as well. She came to Shelby State from
Raleigh-Egypt High School in Memphis, where she played for coach
Isaiah Wade. Barker was team MVP as a senior, and led the Lady Pharoahs
in assists and free throw percentage her senior season. Barker
and her husband, David, have one daughter - Daisha DanYelle, age 3.
