(Athletic Director, 1972-77)
Under
his tenure as the College's first athletic director, the Saluqi program
became a member of the Tennessee Junior College Athletic Association,
enabling its teams to compete in regional and national tournaments. In his
five years as athletic director he guided the Saluqi Athletic Program to two
West Division championships, three West Division runners-up, one Region
championship, and two TJCAA runners-up titles. Many Saluqi athletes received
post-season honors, including 21 All-West Division, 11 All-TJCAA, and two
All-Americans.
