Donald Boone

“Donald worked awfully hard during the summer to improve. We look
for him to have a huge year!!”
2005-06: Boone averaged 9.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game
as a freshman and led the team with a .598 field goal percentage. He
was also among the Saluqis’ team leaders with 58 steals and a .793
free throw percentage. Boone had high games of 20 points against
Cleveland State and 12 rebounds against Hiwassee.
High School: Boone played for former Saluqi Keelon Lawson at
Hamilton High School. He was Hamilton’s team MVP as a senior, was
named All-District 16AAA and to The Commercial Appeal’s Best of the
Preps All-Metro Team. In addition, Boone was Most Valuable Player of
the Martin Luther King Tournament.
Personal: Born April 24, 1987, in Memphis, Boone is the son
of Mary Whitfield and Donald Boone. |
