great point guards of past years. He has great court vision, speed,
quickness and can really pass the ball.”
High School: Cheers played for Coach Irving Clay at Marion
High School in Marion, Arkansas, where he averaged 18.7 points, 10
assists, and five rebounds per game as a senior. He led Marion to a
26-4 record and the final four of the Arkansas State Playoffs.
Cheers was named all-conference and Class AAAA All-State.
