is a mature player who has tremendous quickness and defensive
intensity. He is a great ballhandler and an outstanding shooter.
Marcus is a fine addition to our program and will make a valuable
contribution.”
High School: Prewitt played at Northside High School in
Memphis where he was coached by former Saluqi Curtis Bivins. He had
single game highs of 25 points, 12 rebounds, 9 steals, and 6
assists.
Personal: Born July 19, 1984, in Memphis, Prewitt is the son
of Betty Eggleston.
