“Antonio is a red-shirt freshman who can really shoot the ball.
He is a very hard-nosed player who knows how to win. Antonio will
make a valuable contribution this year.”
2005-06: Young was red-shirted.
High School: Young averaged 18.0 points, two rebounds, and three
assists per game as a senior under Westwood coach Harold Johnson.
Young was named All-District 16AA, honorable mention Associated
Press All-State, and to The Commercial Appeal’s Best of the Preps
All-Metro Team. He scored a career-high 33 points three times -
against Fairley, Carver, and Kingsbury.
Personal: Born December 13, 1985, in Memphis, Young is the
son of Laverne Hall.
