“Another great player is this year’s freshmen class, Joshua has
size, quickness, and great passing skills. He gets his hands on a
lot of balls and should be super in our pressure defense. Another
player from a great winning tradition.”
High School: Watson played for Coach Brian Brooks at Moss
Point High School, where he helped his team win the district and
South State championships and advance to the state semifinals. As a
senior, Watson was named team MVP and was a two-time Defensive
Player of the Year. In addition, he was selected to the all-district
and all-area teams and led the state in steals.

Watson is the son of Gloria and Anthony Watson. |
