“Michael is an incoming sophomore transfer who will give us valuable minutes. An undersized forward with great athletic ability, he is a Charles Barkley type player who is very physical. Michael has a very explosive quick jump when rebounding and finishing. He is also able to make 15 foot jump shots consistently.”

2017-2018: Reese played 24 games as a freshman at Collin County Community College in Plano, Texas, where he averaged 2.5 points and 2.0 rebounds per game. His high games were 10 points (vs. Paul Quinn), 7 rebounds (vs. Paul Quinn and Tomball), and 2 blocked shots (vs. Tomball, New Mexico Military and Richland).

High School: Reese played for Coach David Taylor at Craigmont High School in Memphis, where he averaged 10.2 points and was among city leaders with 9.4 rebounds and 2.7 blocked shots per game.

Personal: Born October 10, 1997, in Memphis, he is the son of Kashai Nixon and Michael Reese.
