SOUTHWEST
SOFTBALL
The Lady Saluqis softball team returns to
action in 2004 under the direction of new head coach Keith Gentry
and assistant coach Tonya Shropshire. Southwest, with a team
consisting of all freshmen, will aim to compete for the Tennessee
Junior and Community College Athletic Association West Division
championship and a berth in the 2004 Region VII Tournament in
Chattanooga. The Lady Saluqis have 46 games scheduled for the spring. Southwest will play its home
games at the Appling Softball Complex in Bartlett,
Tennessee.
