is a two-year starter at point guard on the Lady Saluqis' basketball
team. As a freshman, Bonner played in 23 games, averaging 4.0 points
and 2.7 rebounds per game, and also ranked second on the team with 79
assists and 38 steals, and third in blocked shots with 14.
High School: Bonner lettered in softball and basketball four years
at Trezevant High School in Memphis, where she was coached by Eva Bass.
A four-time all-district performer in basketball, Bonner scored 1,348 points
in her career and was named to The Commercial Appeal’s ‘Best of the
Preps’ team. As a senior, Bonner averaged 10.0 points, 3.4 assists,
and 5.3 steals. She also lettered in cross
country, and was a member of the honor society at Trezevant High.
Personal: Born July 26, 1984, in Memphis, Bonner is the daughter of
Elsie and Stampson Bonner.
