Bryant started at both shortstop and third base, and led the team in walks
and assists.
High School: Bryant played four years at
Brighton High School under coach Robin Jacobs, where she led the Lady
Cardinals to the state tournament her junior and senior seasons. She
was named All-District 14AA as a senior after batting .244 with 37 runs
scored, eight doubles, two triples, and 17 runs batted in. Bryant was
also a starter on Brighton's state tournament teams in her junior and
sophomore seasons, and was one of Brighton's top hitters as a sophomore with a .345 average. She
also played on the Lady Cardinals' basketball and golf teams.

November 3, 1984, in Memphis, Bryant is the daughter of David and Trish
Bryant.
