2004 Fall Season: Davenport led the Lady Saluqis with a .368 batting
average, six doubles, two home runs, 21 hits, 13 runs batted in, 33 total
bases, and a .579 slugging average. She was also among the team leaders in
on-base average (.419) and in fielding average (.971). Davenport hit home
runs against Three Rivers and Martin Methodist and had single game highs of
four RBI (vs. Itawamba), seven total bases (vs. Three Rivers), and three
hits (vs. Three Rivers). She is also a member of the Lady Saluqis’ 3.0
Club, and has a cumulative grade point average of 3.243.
High School:
Davenport played at Houston High School under coach Chad Becker, where she
was a member of the All-District 15AAA and Commercial Appeal’s Best of the
Preps Teams. As a senior, Davenport batted .480 with six doubles, five
triples, one home run and 33 runs batted in. In addition, she also led the
team with a .693 slugging average and a .653 on-base average. As a
sophomore, she played on Houston’s 2003 state tournament team. Davenport
played summer ball for Germantown, coached by Kevin Dodson.
